Well I am preparing to leave once again for the camino. The fifth and final Killgore child was wed yesterday evening. Such a blessed and fun evening.Steve starts a new career Tuesday and i fly to France thursday sept.1st to begin my third journey of the camino de Santiago.
I have a new nook to attempt to keep in touch and we'll see how it goes.
I'm using it now as a test run.
Originally this camino was to be shared with Steve, but he was offered a job that was too good to pass on. So the decision to go it solo seemed the way it was meant to be. I had decided that an email connection with my prayer partners seemed redundant. Apparantly that was not true for some of you. So I decided to try my hand at a blog. That way you only have to join me if you want to. Patience may be required on all our parts, but that is certainly one of the lessons of the camino.
I am excited, nervous, blessed and trustful of God's abundant grace as I fill my backpack, break in my boots and gratefully tune my heart more acutely to listen to the call of Christ more intimately than normal daily life allows. Walk with me, please pray for me, and i will for you, as we once again share the Camino de Santiago. It seems St James and I are old friends now and I think understand what we are asking of each other more clearly. My love and prayers are yours, through Christ who perfects and completes all we attempt in His holy name. Buen camino!
